In early 2004 a very talented and successful group from the Philadelphia area disbanded and its members moved to different corners of the country. In an effort to maintain a writing relationship with them I have tried countless approaches to stay in contact to make music. After multiple failed attempts and difficult discoveries about the characteristics of musicians (e.g. innate laziness and demanding schedules), a final idea began to emerge and the makings for Collabajam were born. In 2006 plans were set in motion to invite other people from all over the globe to make music together. This is a site for original music enthusiasts; a site for musicians and listeners of all ages to innovate, create, and appreciate the world of music.
